The Oceanport School District is a community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade from Oceanport, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The district also includes students from Sea Bright, who attend as part of a sending/receiving relationship.[3]

As of the 2008-09 school year, the district's two schools had an enrollment of 703 students and 59.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.9.[1]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[4]

For grades 9 - 12, public school students attend Shore Regional High School, a regional high school that serves students from the constituent districts of Monmouth Beach, Sea Bright, Oceanport and West Long Branch.[5] The high school is part of the Shore Regional High School District.
